How many permits does my crew actually need?

Most small electrical contractors (1-3 electricians) create 0-10 energized work permits per month — typically well within the Pro tier. Industrial facilities with multiple daily tasks may need the Team tier. The Free tier (3 lifetime) is ideal for occasional one-off jobs.

Can I use ArcDocs for OSHA compliance?

ArcDocs generates NFPA 70E 130.2(B)(1) formatted permits. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.333 and 1926.403 reference NFPA 70E as the recognized standard for electrical safety in workplaces. However, all field values must be verified by a qualified person before work begins. ArcDocs is a documentation tool, not a compliance certification.

What happens to my permits after 30 days?

Permits are automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after creation. Download your PDF immediately after generation — that copy is yours to keep and file per your document retention policy.

Do you support voice input on mobile?

Yes. The voice recorder works on any modern mobile browser (iOS Safari, Android Chrome). You can dictate the permit details standing next to the equipment.

Can I change the company name on the permit?

Company name appears on Pro and Team tier permits. Configure it in your account settings (coming soon). Free tier permits show the ArcDocs watermark.

What if the AI misses a field?

After AI extraction, you see a review screen with all extracted fields highlighted. Uncertain fields are marked in yellow. You can edit every field before generating the PDF. The AI saves time on data entry but you maintain full control.
