Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-26 · Effective: 2026-04-26
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using ArcDocs (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What ArcDocs is — and is not
ArcDocs is a documentation formatting tool that helps you generate NFPA 70E 130.2(B)(1) Energized Electrical Work Permits in PDF form. We use AI (Google Gemini) to extract permit fields from voice or text you provide.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address. Accounts are personal — do not share login links.
- You are responsible for keeping your email account secure (we authenticate via magic link, so anyone with access to your email can sign in).
- You must be a Qualified Person, an employee of one, or otherwise authorized to issue Energized Electrical Work Permits in your jurisdiction.
- You may delete your account at any time at /account.
4. Fees and refunds
- Free tier: 3 lifetime permits.
- Pay-per-permit: $4.99 per single permit.
- Pro: $29/month, up to 20 permits per month.
- Team: $79/month, up to 75 permits per month.
- All fees are processed by PayPal in US dollars. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
- Refunds: we will refund any subscription payment in full if requested within 7 days of charge, no questions asked. Pay-per-permit purchases are non-refundable once the PDF has been generated. Email info@arcdocs.app with your transaction ID.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or impersonate others
- Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or contains malware
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls
- Resell access to the Service without our written permission
- Use the Service in a way that violates electrical safety regulations or in lieu of a proper safety assessment
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with refund for unused portion of any active subscription.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of permit content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to deliver the Service (extract fields, render PDF, store for retrieval). We do not use your permits for training models or advertising.
7. Intellectual property
The ArcDocs name, logo, software, and templates are our property. You may not copy or imitate them without permission. Content from the NFPA 70E standard cited within permits is property of the National Fire Protection Association; we use it for documentation reference under fair use.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT EXTRACTED PERMIT FIELDS ARE COMPLETE OR CORRECT — VERIFICATION BY A QUALIFIED PERSON IS REQUIRED.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR INJURY ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON A PERMIT GENERATED BY THE SERVICE.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including any incident on a worksite where a permit you generated was used.
11. Termination
You may terminate by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these Terms or extended inactivity, with notice where reasonably possible.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, except where mandatory consumer protection law of your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
